Study description
On decaying branch debris on the ground, with a circular to reniform pileus, 0.5 to 1.2 cm in diameter, smooth brown surface, adnate, ventricose, creamy-brown lamellae, lacking a developed stipe, attached laterally to the substrate by an extension of the pileus, without a distinctly perceptible odor, and with a farinaceous taste.
Cuticle formed by superficial cylindrical, thin-walled hyphae, 2 to 4 µm wide, separated by gelatinization, and beneath these more compacted, hyaline, thick-walled hyphae arranged parallel to each other, 4 to 7 µm wide, all septate and with clamp connections.
Cheilocystidia abundant, cylindric-clavate to lageniform, thin-walled, 20 to 35 µm long, 7 to 12 µm wide.
Pleurocystidia absent.
Basidia cylindric-clavate, 15 to 25 µm long, 3.5 to 5 µm wide, with basal clamp connections and 2 to 4 sterigmata (2- or 4-spored).
Spores subcylindrical to allantoid, smooth, hyaline, thin-walled, with an eccentric apiculus at one end, 4 to 5 µm long, 1 to 1.5 µm wide, containing small oil droplets (guttules) inside, and amyloid in Melzer's reagent.
