Cuticle composed of cylindrical, moderately thick-walled hyphae 4 to 8 µm in diameter, with copious encrusting ochraceous-brown intracellular pigment, abundant emergent terminal elements with the terminal cell measuring 25 to 40 µm long.
Cheilocystidia and pleurocystidia clavate, fusiform to lageniform, 30 to 50 µm long and 10 to 15 µm wide.
Basidia clavate, 25 to 35 µm long, 8 to 11 µm wide, simple-based and four-spored.
Spores subcylindrical to fusiform, with a curved, pointed end bearing the apiculus, smooth- and thick-walled, yellowish brown under the microscope, 12 to 14 µm long, 4.5 to 6 µm wide, containing oil droplets (guttules) inside.
