Cuticle formed by filamentous hyphae, densely interwoven, 2 to 4 µm wide, branched, separated by gelification, with brownish intracellular pigment, septate and clamped.
Cheilocystidia sometimes difficult to observe, cylindrical, branched, coralloid in shape, 12 to 14 µm long and 3.5 to 6 µm wide.
Lamellar trama irregular.
Basidia clavate, 22 to 26 µm long, 6.5 to 7.5 µm wide, with sterigmata up to 5 µm, basal clamp connections and four-spored.
Spores globose to subglobose, smooth, hyaline, thin-walled, 4 to 5 µm in diameter, with a minute apiculus at one end, slightly opaque granular content of small oil droplets, and inamyloid in Melzer's reagent.
