Study description
General: Associated with pastures and meadows, pileus cream-colored, stipe strikingly adorned with vibrant violet to lilac fibrils, lamellae easily separable from the pileus context, odor mild, taste sweetish.
Pileipellis: Cutis composed of cylindrical filamentous hyphae 2-4 µm wide, hyaline, slightly thick-walled, arranged parallel to slightly interwoven, septate with clamp connections.
Lamellar edge: Homomorphic, without differentiated cheilocystidia.
Basidia: Clavate, 30-40 x 6-8 µm, with basal clamp connections, 4-spored.
Spores: Ellipsoid, thin-walled and minutely verruculose, 6-9 x 4-6 µm, with an inconspicuous eccentric apiculus, containing oil guttules, inamyloid in Melzer's reagent.
