Dacrymyces stillatus
Nees

Study description
Monomitic hyphal system, formed by very slender filamentous hyphae, separated by gelatinization, with simple septa lacking clamp connections.
Basidia tuning-fork-shaped (furcate), with two long sterigmata, without basal clamp connections.
Spores cylindric-allantoid, smooth, hyaline, thin-walled, with a lateral apiculus at one end, 1- to 3-septate transversally.
In the asexual or imperfect stage, filamentous hyphae disarticulate into sinuous fragments termed arthrospores.
