Basidia clavate, up to 38 µm long, with basal clamp connections, 4-spored.
Spores ellipsoidal to fusiform (almond-shaped), very large, finely verrucose-walled, yellow under the microscope, with minute darker warts, an eccentric apiculus, and without appreciable reaction in Melzer's reagent.
