Study description

Hymeniform cutis composed of hyaline vesiculose to pyriform hyphae.

Terminal cylindrical to sinuous hyphae present as caulocystidia in the upper stipe.

Cheilocystidia very abundant, rendering the lamellar edge virtually sterile, cylindrical, fusiform to lageniform.

Basidia clavate, with slightly widened apex, 4-spored.

Spores ellipsoidal, smooth, thick-walled, brown under the microscope, with a delicate lateral apiculus at one end and a germ pore at the opposite end, non-dextrinoid in Melzer's reagent.
