Asci cylindrical, uniseriate, with an amyloid reaction of their apical apparatus in Melzer's reagent.

Paraphyses filiform, septate, slightly widened at the apex, not protruding above the level of the asci.

Ascospores ellipsoidal with one end slightly more pointed, smooth, hyaline, thin-walled, with very faint granular content inside.
