Cuticle filamentous, composed of hyphae with little intracellular pigment, intricately interwoven, with rounded tips and without clamp connections.

Cystidia scarce, scattered, large, fusiform to lanceolate.

Basidia clavate and 4-spored.

Spores smooth-walled, very elongated, subfusiform, with a lateral apiculus and abundant granular content inside.
