Amanita phalloides

Suprapellis filamentous, composed of a thick layer of interwoven hyphae, strongly gelatinized and without clamp connections, beneath which lie more compacted hyphae arranged more or less in parallel, likewise without clamp connections.

Cheilocystidia scattered, globose to pyriform, hyaline.

Basidia cylindrical, strongly widened at the apex, 4-spored.

Spores spherical to subglobose, smooth, with small lipid droplets inside, a very discreet apiculus, and strongly amyloid in Melzer's reagent.
