Clavaria fragilis
Holmsk.

Study description
A striking pure white species that typically fruits in large fasciculate clusters in diverse habitats such as forests, slopes, grassy areas, meadows, or track edges.
It usually reaches a height of 5-6 cm, though occasionally develops further up to over 10 cm. These features make it easily identifiable.
According to literature it is a rare species, although in our experience, while not common, it can be observed practically every year in diverse locations.
The microscopic images correspond to a collection in the municipality of Erandio (Bizkaia), under Quercus robur in December, growing among leaf litter.
Additional macroscopic images are included from collections in Zeanuri, Orozko, and Erandio in August, July, and November, respectively.
