On decaying dead wood on the ground of broadleaf trees, with effused-reflexed basidiocarps, semicircular pileus, finely tomentose surface concentrically zoned from cream to pale brown, with a paler margin, 3 to 4 circular pores per mm, cream-colored, and pale cream context of tough consistency.
Trimitic hyphal system, with very thick-walled skeletal hyphae, hyaline, 4 to 8 µm wide, aseptate; thin-walled generative hyphae, hyaline, 2 to 3.5 µm wide, septate and with clamp connections; and thick-walled binding hyphae, profusely branched, hyaline, 2.5 to 5 µm wide.
Without cystidia or other sterile elements in the hymenium.
Basidia clavate, small, 12 to 15 µm long, 5 to 6 µm wide, with basal clamp connections, 4-spored.
Spores cylindrical to slightly allantoid, smooth, hyaline, thin-walled, 6.5 to 8 µm long, 2.5 to 3.5 µm wide, with an eccentric apiculus at one end, containing small oil droplets inside, inamyloid in Melzer's reagent.
