(Ellis & Everh.) Wakef.

Study description
On dead decaying wood or bark on the ground, with resupinate basidiomes up to 0.2 mm thick, discontinuous, slightly granular surface, greyish-brown, with an indeterminate, poorly defined growing margin.
Subicular hyphae thin- to moderately thick-walled, branched, 4 to 6 µm wide, containing yellowish-brown pigment inside, septate, with clamp connections.
Subhymenial hyphae thin-walled, hyaline or subhyaline, 3.5 to 5 µm wide, branched, septate, with clamp connections.
Cystidia abundant, arising from subhymenial hyphae, clavate, hyaline, thin-walled, 50 to 110 µm long, 9 to 12 µm wide.
Basidia cylindric-clavate, hyaline, 30 to 50 µm long, 7 to 9 µm wide, with basal clamp connections, 4-spored, with sterigmata up to 5 µm.
Spores irregular, lobed, echinulate, ochraceous-brown under the microscope in water, 6.5 to 8 µm long excluding ornamentation, 5.7 to 7.5 µm wide, with spines 0.5 to 2 µm, inamyloid in Melzer's reagent.
