(Pers. ex J.F.Gmel.) Gray

Study description
On decaying wood or bark of broadleaves on the ground, with resupinate to semipileate basidiomes up to 1.5 mm thick; hymenium bearing spines 1 to 2.5 mm long, yellowish orange to salmon; white, slightly fimbriate but well-delimited growing margin.
Hyphal system dimitic, with thick-walled skeletal hyphae 3 to 7 µm wide, and hyaline, thin-walled generative hyphae 2 to 3 µm wide, septate and clamped.
Cystidia cylindrical, with abundant surface encrustations, 70 to 100 µm long and 6 to 10 µm wide, projecting considerably above the hymenial surface.
Basidia cylindrical-clavate, 15 to 25 µm long, 3.5 to 4.5 µm wide, with basal clamp connections and four-spored.
Spores subglobose to ellipsoidal, smooth, hyaline, thin-walled, 3 to 4 µm long, 2 to 2.5 µm wide, with an eccentric apiculus at one end, containing one or more oil droplets inside, and inamyloid in Melzer's reagent.
