(Berk. & Broome) K.Põldmaa & Samuels

Study description
An uncommon species that develops on the hymenium of Ganoderma species, forming a cottony web beneath the host's pores to trap the spores on which it feeds.
This study corresponds to the asexual or conidial stage of the species.
Conidiogenous hyphae formed by slender, hyaline filaments 2 to 3.5 µm wide arising directly from the mycelium.
Conidia cylindrical, with one to three transverse septa, slightly constricted at the middle, hyaline, smooth- and thin-walled, 7.5 to 15 µm long, 3 to 4.5 µm wide, containing oil droplets of varying size inside.
Herbarium material available: JTP1984/23.
