Study description
On decaying coniferous wood on the ground, such as pines, firs or cedars, with resupinate basidiomes up to 1 mm thick, loosely attached to the substrate, white to cream, with 5 to 6 angular pores per mm; subiculum very thin, virtually absent; concolorous tubes up to 0.8 mm long.
Hyphal system dimitic, with thick-walled, simple, sinuous skeletal hyphae 2 to 4 µm wide, and hyaline, thin-walled, branched generative hyphae 2 to 3.5 µm wide, generally with abundant surface encrustations, septate and clamped.
Cystidia absent, but with scattered fusiform, smooth cystidioles 10 to 17 µm long and 3 to 5 µm wide, with basal clamp connections.
Basidia clavate, 10 to 13 µm long, 4 to 5 µm wide, with basal clamp connections and four-spored.
Spores allantoid, smooth, hyaline, thin-walled, 4 to 5.5 µm long, 1 to 1.7 µm wide, containing oil droplets inside situated preferably at both poles, with a virtually imperceptible apiculus, and inamyloid in Melzer's reagent.
Herbarium material available: JTP2488/25.
