On decaying wood or bark of broadleaves, with resupinate basidiomes, whitish to pale cream, with a labyrinthine pore surface bearing 1 to 3 pores per mm, and a paler but well-delimited growing margin.
Hyphal system dimitic, composed of thick-walled, hyaline skeletal hyphae 3.5 to 5 µm in diameter, without septa, and hyaline generative hyphae, thin- to moderately thick-walled, 2 to 3.5 µm in diameter, branched, often with capitate terminations, septate and clamped.
Cystidia scattered, capitate, often covered at the apex with a resinous substance.
Basidia cylindrical-clavate, 15 to 20 µm long, 3.5 to 5 µm wide, with basal clamp connections and four-spored.
Spores ovoid to ellipsoidal, smooth, hyaline, thin-walled, 4.5 to 6 µm long, 3 to 4 µm wide, often containing small oil droplets of varying size inside, and inamyloid in Melzer's reagent.
