Asci cylindrical, eight-spored, uniseriate, 150 to 180 µm long, 10 to 12 µm wide, with an amyloid apical apparatus 3.5 to 5 µm long and 2.8 to 3.8 µm wide.
Abundant interascal tissue consisting of filamentous, hyaline paraphyses, 2 to 3 µm wide, projecting considerably above the asci.
