(Berk. & M.A.Curtis) Bourdot & Galzin

Study description
A saprophytic fungus on dead wood of angiosperms, formerly known as Dendrophora versiformis, with completely resupinate basidiomata in shades ranging from brown to greyish, very thin, with a smooth to slightly rugulose surface.
Subicular hyphae cylindrical, thick-walled, 3 to 4 µm wide, arranged more or less parallel, filled with brown intracellular pigment, septate with clamp connections; subhymenial hyphae of similar width, hyaline, thin-walled and interwoven, clamped.
Lamprocystidia subcylindrical, slightly tapered apically, thick-walled, 35 to 70 µm long, 10 to 16 µm wide, with the upper half heavily encrusted with crystals.
Dendrohyphidia abundant, repeatedly branched, hyaline or containing brown intracellular pigment, thin- to slightly thick-walled, 3 to 5 µm wide at the base and tapering to 1 to 2 µm at the tips.
Basidia cylindrical-clavate, 30 to 45 µm long, 4 to 6 µm wide, clamped at the base, 4-spored.
Spores cylindrical to allantoid, smooth, hyaline, thin-walled, 6 to 8 µm long, 2 to 3 µm wide, with a lateral apiculus at one end, inamyloid in Melzer's reagent.
