Study description
On moist decaying fallen leaves of Quercus, with a hemispherical to convex pileus very small in size (1–5 mm across), pinkish-brown, with broad, distant, adnate to slightly decurrent lamellae, and a long watery-grey stipe up to 5 cm in length.
Cuticle (pileipellis) with hyphae 4–12 µm wide, swollen and entirely, densely covered with short warts.
Stipe formed by parallel hyaline hyphae 2–3 µm wide, with simple to branched excrescences up to 5 µm long by 0.5–1.5 µm wide.
Cheilocystidia pyriform to clavate, measuring 15–29 µm long by 8–16 µm wide, covered with numerous evenly distributed excrescences 1–4 µm long.
Pleurocystidia absent.
Basidia cylindrical-clavate, 20–25 µm long by 6–9 µm wide, simple-based, 2-spored.
Spores cylindrical, smooth, hyaline, thin-walled, with a prominently pointed end where the apiculus is located, measuring 10–13.5 µm long by 3.7–5 µm wide, with sparse oil droplets of varying size inside, amyloid in Melzer's reagent.
