(Berk. & Cooke) Sacc.

Study description
Species occurring on the bark of living deciduous trees among moss, with a hemispherical to convex pileus having a central depression, 3–7 mm across, pale brown with pinkish hues, adnate lamellae, and a curved, cylindrical reddish-brown stipe.
Cuticle (pileipellis) formed by hyaline, densely interwoven hyphae 2–4 µm wide, separated by gelification, branched, with short digitiform swellings.
Stipe with hyphae 1–4 µm wide, bearing abundant diverticula up to 9 µm long by up to 1.5 µm wide.
Caulocystidia clavate, 30–50 µm long, with abundant apical finger-like excrescences up to 10 µm long.
Cheilocystidia clavate, measuring 35–47 µm long by 10–12 µm wide, covered with irregular excrescences up to 8 µm long by 1–1.5 µm wide.
Basidia clavate, 25–35 µm long by 11–14 µm wide, with basal clamps, 4-spored.
Spores practically absent; the few recovered globose to subglobose, smooth, hyaline, thin-walled, 8–11 µm long by 8–10 µm wide according to literature, containing oil droplets inside, amyloid in Melzer's reagent.
