(Fr.) Kühner

Study description
General: Inhabiting coniferous forests, pileus convex, brownish-beige, smooth and hygrophanous, odor slightly rancid, taste mild.
Pileipellis: Cutis composed of cylindrical hyphae 2.5-4.5 µm wide, arranged parallel to slightly interwoven, hyaline or containing pale brown intracellular pigment, septate with clamp connections.
Lamellar edge: Fertile, lacking differentiated cystidia.
Lamellar trama: Regular.
Basidia: Clavate, 23-30 x 6-8 µm, containing siderophilous granules, with basal clamp connections, 4-spored.
Spores: Cylindric-ellipsoid, pointed at the apicular end, smooth, hyaline, thin-walled, 6.8-8.5 x 3.5-4.5 µm, containing oil guttules, inamyloid in Melzer's reagent.
Herbarium voucher: JTP2296/24.
