Study description
General: Tropical to subtropical species of small stature, pileus white to cream, darker at the disc, stipe white without a persistent annulus but with a diffuse annular zone.
Pileipellis: Cutis composed of parallel cylindrical hyphae 4-6 µm wide, hyaline or containing faint ochraceous pigment, septate with clamp connections.
Lamellar edge: Fertile, lacking differentiated cystidia.
Basidia: Clavate, 20-28 x 6.5-8 µm, with basal clamp connections, predominantly 4-spored.
Spores: Subglobose, hyaline, smooth, thick-walled, 5-6.5 x 4.5-5.8 µm, with a hyaline apiculus, containing oil droplets, dextrinoid in Melzer's reagent.
Herbarium voucher: JTP2526/25.
