Study description
General: While literature frequently records it under conifers, collected in a riparian woodland under broadleaves dominated by ivy, pileus viscid, grey with brown shades, darker at the center, odor farinaceous, taste sweetish and farinaceous.
Pileipellis: Cutis composed of cylindrical hyphae 3-5 µm wide, irregularly and densely interwoven, hyaline or containing pale greyish-brown intracellular pigment, branched, septate with clamp connections.
Lamellar edge: Fertile, lacking clearly differentiated cystidia.
Basidia: Clavate, 30-40 x 6-8 µm, with basal clamp connections, 4-spored.
Spores: Globose to subglobose, hyaline, thin-walled, 5-6.5 x 4.5-6 µm, with an apiculus, granular content, inamyloid in Melzer's reagent.
