(Pers.) Vizzini, P.Alvarado, G.Moreno & Consiglio

Study description
General: Small agaric displaying a preference for basic soils, pileus whitish with a frosted-chalky sheen, lamellae short-decurrent, stipe with longitudinal fibrils, fragrant soapy/aromatic odor, insipid taste.
Pileipellis: Cutis composed of cylindrical, filamentous, slightly thick-walled hyphae 3-6 µm wide, interwoven, slightly separated by gelatinization, septate with clamp connections.
Lamellar edge: Fertile, lacking differentiated cystidia.
Lamellar trama: Subregular.
Basidia: Cylindric-clavate, 15-20 x 3.5-4.5 µm, with basal clamp connections, 4-spored.
Spores: Ellipsoid, smooth, hyaline, thin-walled, 3.5-5 x 3-3.8 µm, with a lateral apiculus, containing oil guttules, inamyloid in Melzer's reagent.
