Study description
General: Inhabiting grassy lawns, pastures, woodland clearings, and parks, pileus pure white, stipe with a movable ring, spore print white, odor mild and taste sweetish.
Pileipellis: Filamentous cutis of cylindrical, hyaline hyphae arranged more or less parallel, with terminal elements cylindrical to subfusiform, 40-100 x 10-15 µm, septate with simple septa (clamp connections absent).
Cheilocystidia: Cylindrical to clavate, slightly sinuous, hyaline, 35-60 x 7-15 µm.
Pleurocystidia: Absent.
Basidia: Clavate, 30-36 x 9-11 µm, base simple, 4-spored.
Spores: Ellipsoid, smooth, hyaline, moderately thick-walled, 7-10 x 4.5-6 µm, with an inconspicuous eccentric apiculus and a small apical germ pore, guttulate, distinctly dextrinoid in Melzer's reagent.
