Pileipellis: Cutis composed of cylindrical filamentous hyphae 3-5 µm wide, irregularly interwoven, containing faint brown intracellular pigment, septate with clamp connections.
Lamellar edge: Fertile, homomorphic, without differentiated cystidia.
Basidia: Cylindric-clavate, 20-30 x 5-7 µm, with basal clamp connections, 4-spored.
Spores: Ellipsoid, thin-walled and distinctly verrucose, 4.5-6.5 x 3-4.5 µm, with an eccentric apiculus, containing oil guttules, inamyloid in Melzer's reagent.
