(Pers.) Fr.

Study description
General: Tropical lignicolous species, pileus infundibuliform, white to very pale cream, odor mild and taste sweetish-fungal to neutral.
Pileipellis: Composed of cylindrical filamentous hyphae, slightly interwoven, hyaline, thin- to moderately thick-walled, septate with clamp connections.
Lamellar edge: Without distinct cystidia, but lined with slender, flexuous hair-like cylindrical hyphae often projecting above the basidia.
Basidia: Clavate, 20-28 x 5-7 µm, with basal clamp connections, 2- or 4-spored.
Spores: Cylindrical, smooth, hyaline, thin-walled, with a lateral apiculus, inamyloid in Melzer's reagent.
