Nyl.

Study description
General: Abundant epiphytic crustose lichen developing on bark or wood of broadleaves, thallus pale cream to greyish, turning yellow with potassium hydroxide (K+ yellow).
Apothecia: Sessile, discoid, 0.4-1 mm diam., ochraceous to chestnut-brown turning greenish when wet, surrounded by a prominent, crenulate white thalline margin.
Asci: Subcylindrical to clavate, 65-80 x 10-15 µm, spores irregular to slightly biseriate, lower half and surrounding hymenial gel strongly amyloid in Melzer's reagent.
Paraphyses: Filiform, very slender, hyaline, septate, 1.5-2 µm wide, apices slightly widened up to 2.5 µm and covered by an amorphous brownish pigment that dissolves in KOH.
Ascospores: Ellipsoid, smooth, thin-walled, 9-15 x 6-9 µm, unicellular, containing 1-2 large oil guttules.
