Study description
Substrate: Lignicolous on decayed decorticated deciduous wood.
Ascomata: Subsessile, 0.5-1.5 mm diam., disc greyish-cream to yellowish, margin surrounded by dark brown hairs.
Marginal hairs: 100-170 x 3-5 µm, thick-walled, multiseptate, brown with hyaline obtuse tips.
Excipulum: Medullary excipulum of textura prismatica; ectal excipulum of subglobose to angular brownish cells.
Asci: Cylindric-clavate, 8-spored, 40-50 x 4.5-6 µm, croziers present, apical pore amyloid.
Paraphyses: Filiform to slightly lanceolate, 2-3 µm wide.
Spores: Fusiform, smooth, hyaline, 1-septate at maturity (2 cells), 8-11 x 2-2.5 µm.
