Lactocollybia cycadicola
(Joss.) Singer

Study description
General: Associated with Cycadaceae; collection studied fruiting on petiole bases of Cycas sp. (likely Cycas revoluta), pileus white turning yellowish with age, stipe typically eccentric.
Pileipellis: Cutis of filamentous hyphae 4-10 µm wide, with abundant large fusiform endogloeocystidia containing refractive granular contents.
Caulocystidia: Scarce, cylindrical, mostly on upper stipe.
Cheilocystidia: Abundant, fusiform to lageniform (bottle-shaped), 40-50 x 9-15 µm, projecting distinctly above basidia.
Pleurocystidia: Scattered, similar in shape and dimensions.
Basidia: Clavate, small, 20-27 x 8-10 µm, clamped, 4-spored.
Spores: Ellipsoid to slightly amygdaliform, slightly pointed at the hilar end, hyaline, smooth, thin-walled, mostly containing a large oil droplet, inamyloid in Melzer's reagent.
