Lactarius albocarneus
Britzelm.

Study description
General: Associated with conifers (Abies or Picea), with white latex slowly turning yellow upon drying, and an acrid and bitter taste.
Pileipellis: Ixocutis composed of filamentous, hyaline, branched hyphae 2-3.5 µm wide, strongly interwoven and separated by a thick gelatinous matrix, with simple septa.
Cheilocystidia: Numerous, fusiform, 40-75 x 7-10 µm, with dense granular contents.
Pleurocystidia: Scattered, similar in shape to cheilocystidia, 70-110 x 9-11 µm.
Basidia: Clavate, 45-60 x 10-14 µm, base simple, 4-spored.
Spores: Subspherical to slightly ellipsoid, with numerous warts up to 1 µm high connected into ridges without forming a complete reticulum, with a pointed hyaline apiculus, amyloid in Melzer's reagent.
