(P.Karst.) P.Karst.

Study description
A lignicolous species preferring coniferous wood, with white stipitate apothecia 0.5-1.5 mm in diameter, with hyaline marginal hairs.
Marginal hairs cylindrical, septate, 45-95 µm long and 2.5-4 µm wide, without apical inflations, covered across their entire surface with fine granulations or warts.
Medullary excipulum composed of filamentous, cylindrical, septate hyphae, 2-3 µm thick, very thin-walled, densely interwoven (textura intricata).
Ectal excipulum composed of rectangular hyphae of textura prismatica, hyaline, thick-walled, parallelly arranged, 12-20 µm long.
Asci cylindric-clavate, 8-spored, with biseriate to irregular spore arrangement, 55-75 µm long and 5-7.5 µm wide, with basal croziers and an amyloid apical apparatus in Melzer's reagent.
Paraphyses lanceolate, 3-4.5 µm wide, barely projecting above the level of the asci.
Ascospores ellipsoidal to fusiform, smooth, hyaline, thin-walled, with homogeneous or very finely granular internal content.
