Inocybe posterula
(Britzelm.) Sacc.

Study description
A species typical of pine forests, with a convex cap having an indistinct umbo, pale brownish, with radial fibrils and a whitish margin.
Pileipellis composed of filamentous hyphae arranged more or less parallelly, 5-12 µm wide, with yellowish intracellular pigment and brown surface incrustations, septate and predominantly clamped.
Caulocystidia present only on the upper third of the stipe, cylindrical to fusiform, some with apical crystallizations.
Cheilocystidia fusiform, 40-50 µm long and 12-18 µm wide, walls up to 2 µm thick, with apical crystallizations, intermixed with shorter, thin-walled, cylindric-clavate, non-crystallized paracystidia.
Pleurocystidia abundant, fusiform, 45-60 µm long and 12-17 µm wide, with apical crystallizations.
Basidia clavate, 25-35 µm long and 8-10 µm wide, with basal clamps, 4-spored.
Spores ellipsoidal, smooth- and thick-walled, pale brown under the microscope, with an eccentric apiculus at one end and abundant internal oil droplets.
