Hygrocybe acutoconica
(Clem.) Singer

Study description
Also known as Hygrocybe persistens, with a conical cap and yellow gills.
Pileipellis with a superficial layer of hyaline hyphae, slightly separated by gelification, 2-5 µm wide; beneath these lie more fusiform hyphae with yellow intracellular pigment, reaching a width exceeding 15 µm.
Gill edge homomorphic, without differentiated elements from basidia or basidioles.
Basidia clavate, 30-40 µm long and 6-9 µm wide, without basal clamps, 2- or 4-spored.
Spores ovoid to ellipsoidal, smooth, hyaline, thin-walled, with an inconspicuous eccentric apiculus at one end, faint granular internal content, inamyloid in Melzer's reagent.
Based on the spore quotient Q (mean of 1.3) and following Funga Nordica criteria, this collection would correspond to Hygrocybe acutoconica var. konradii (currently Hygrocybe konradii in MycoBank; an epithet not recognized as distinct by GBIF, which like Index Fungorum synonymizes it with Hygrocybe acutoconica).
