Asci cylindric-clavate, 8-spored, with biseriate to irregular spore arrangement, without croziers at their base, up to 60 µm long and up to 8.5 µm wide, with an amyloid reaction of their small apical apparatus in Melzer's reagent.
Paraphyses filiform, slender, smooth, cylindrical, unbranched, without apical swellings, only up to 2 µm wide, not projecting above the level of the asci.
