A species associated with Salix herbacea, with a radish-like odor and raw potato flavor, slightly bitter, with indextrinoid spores.
Suprapellis presenting an upper thin layer of hyphae widely separated by gelification, 2-5 µm wide, with very few septa; beneath this layer lie cylindrical, more compacted, broader hyphae with yellow intracellular pigment.
Cheilocystidia cylindrical, slightly swollen at the base, 45-60 µm long, with a width at the widest part of their base of 8-11 µm.
Basidia clavate, 30-40 µm long and 8-10 µm wide, with basal clamps, 2- or 4-spored.
Spores ovoid to ellipsoidal, very slightly verruculose-walled, very pale yellow under the microscope, with an inconspicuous, almost imperceptible apiculus at one end, indextrinoid in Melzer's reagent.
