Study description
Peridial wall hyphae polyhedral to angular, very thick-walled, up to 20 µm long, containing abundant brown intracellular pigment.
Asci saccate, with a flattened base, 8-spored, with biseriate to irregular spore arrangement, inamyloid in Melzer's reagent.
Ascospores ellipsoidal, smooth, hyaline, thin-walled, with faint vacuolar content.
