Gloiothele lactescens
(Berk.) Hjortstam

Study description
Monomitic hyphal system, generative hyphae hyaline, thin-walled, 2-4 µm wide, difficult to dissociate, simple-septate without clamps.
Gloeocystidia abundant, immersed, cylindrical, slightly sinuous, up to 200 µm long, with granular content.
Basidia clavate, up to 60 x 7 µm, without basal clamps, mostly 4-spored, some 2-spored.
Cylindrical hyphidia present among basidia, up to 70 x 3 µm, projecting above the basidia.
Spores ellipsoidal, smooth, hyaline, thin-walled, with inconspicuous lateral apiculus, containing a large internal oil droplet, inamyloid in Melzer's reagent.
