Ectal excipulum of textura intricata and medullary excipulum of textura globosa-angularis, giving rise to sinuous brown external hairs, septate and thick-walled.
Asci cylindrical, uniseriate, 8-spored, with inamyloid apical apparatus in Melzer's reagent.
Paraphyses filiform, smooth, hyaline, septate, swollen at the apical cell, with rounded tips.
Ascospores ellipsoidal, smooth, hyaline, thin- to moderately thick-walled, with two or more oil droplets and granular content.
