Study description
Asci cylindrical to subcylindrical, attenuated at the base, 8-spored, uniseriate, without reaction in Melzer's reagent in either the wall or the apical apparatus.
Interascal tissue (paraphyses) hyaline, sparingly branched, septate, thin-walled.
Ascospores subglobose to short ellipsoidal, hyaline in water or with only faint yellowish intracellular pigment, ornamented with coarse darker warts.
