Outer peridial hyphae filamentous, hyaline, thick-walled, sparingly septate; inner peridial hyphae spherical to angular, large, moderately thick-walled, hyaline.
Capillitium thick-walled, up to 8 µm wide, brown, aseptate and unbranched.
Spores globose, thick-walled and verrucose, brown, with coarse darker warts.
