Outer peridial hyphae globose to angular, hyaline, large, thin-walled.
Capillitium very thick-walled, 4-7 µm wide, with brown intracellular pigment, aseptate and unbranched.
Spores globose, thick-walled and verrucose, brown, covered with coarse darker warts.
