Exoperidial hyphae filamentous, 2-5 µm wide, hyaline, thin- to moderately thick-walled, aseptate.
Capillitium composed of slender, thick-walled threads with brown intracellular pigment, 3-5 µm wide, rarely branched, with tapered free ends.
Basidia not observed.
Spores globose, brown under the microscope, ornamented with fine and abundant darker warts.
