Study description
Trimitic hyphal system, with thick-walled skeletal hyphae (3 to 6 µm wide) with brown intracellular pigment, sparingly branched, aseptate; thin-walled clamped generative hyphae (2 to 5 µm wide); and scarce, thick-walled, richly branched binding hyphae.
Cystidia or other sterile hymenial elements absent.
Basidia clavate, up to 30 µm long, 4-spored according to literature.
Spores ellipsoidal with a truncate apex, yellowish-brown under the microscope, with the entire surface covered in small darker punctations, inamyloid in Melzer's reagent.
