Caulocystidia present on the upper stipe, with a long neck terminating in an enlarged capitulum (capitate).
Cheilocystidia abundant, up to 45 µm long, morphologically very similar to caulocystidia.
Pleurocystidia not observed.
Basidia cylindrical, slightly ventricose, mostly 4-spored.
Spores ellipsoidal, thin-walled, with vacuoles inside, an inconspicuous slightly eccentric apiculus at one end, inamyloid in Melzer's reagent.
