Flavodon flavus

Dimitic hyphal system, with thick-walled hyaline skeletal hyphae up to 7 µm wide, and hyaline generative hyphae 2 to 5 µm wide with simple septa (without clamp connections).

Thick-walled cystidia projecting slightly above the basidia and arising from their base, up to 20 µm long, some with apical encrustations; pseudocystidioid structures up to 300 µm also present, corresponding to emerging skeletal hyphae.

Spores ellipsoidal, smooth, hyaline, thin-walled, inamyloid in Melzer's reagent.
