Study description
Filamentous suprapellis composed of a layer of slender, richly branched, interwoven hyphae separated by gelatinization, clamped, with abundant cylindric-fusiform thick-walled dermatocystidia up to 120 µm long.
Caulocystidia abundant in fascicles, visible with a good hand lens, up to 300 µm long, thick-walled, cylindrical to slightly lageniform, some slightly capitate, with brown intracellular pigment.
Cheilocystidia very abundant, clavate, some polymorphic (cylindrical to ventricose), up to 65 µm long.
Basidia clavate, up to 40 µm long, with basal clamp connections, 4-spored.
Spores cylindric-ellipsoidal, smooth, hyaline, thin-walled, with a distinct eccentric apiculus and granular content.
