(Fr.) Watling

Study description
Filamentous cutis, formed by broad parallel hyphae with abundant brown intracellular pigment, constricted septa with minute clamp connections, and some rounded emerging terminal elements.
Cheilocystidia clavate, very abundant, rendering the lamellar edge practically sterile.
Basidia cylindrical or only very slightly widened at the apex, with basal clamp connections, 4-spored.
Spores ellipsoidal, with one flattened to slightly curved side (phaseoliform), smooth, moderately thick-walled, greenish-yellow under the microscope, with a minute slightly eccentric apiculus.
Herbarium material available: JTP1992/23 and JTP2595/25.
