Study description
Peridial hyphae filamentous, heavily pigmented, interwoven to provide a marbled or mottled appearance.
Asci not observed; according to literature subglobose, up to 40 µm in diameter and 2- to 4-spored.
Ascospores globose, very dark brown, with irregular warts conferring a granular or rugose appearance under the microscope.
